The 5 Reasons Your Spinal System Needs Regular Care

Regular care of your spinal system is so critical because of the far reaching affects on every part of your body.
This includes:
1) Neurological – when spinal bones (vertebrae) shift out of place – nerves can get compressed and alter neurological function. This can
causes pain, numbness, tingling and can even impact muscle and organ function.
2) Muscular – all muscles in the body are innervated by nerves that tell muscles when to relax or contract. But improper nerve signals can cause muscles to spasm, tighten and in some cases get weaker.
3) Organ – organ function is regulated by your nerve system. Improper nerve flow can cause organs to work poorly resulting in shallow breathing, poor digestion and even constipation just to name a few.
4) Bone – a spinal system that is misaligned for years can result in degeneration or arthritis developing along the spinal column. This can restrict movement and also cause stiffness in the body. This can also lead to inflammation along tendons and ligaments.
5) Posture – one of the biggest benefits of regular care is to maintain a healthy posture. Posture is critical for good health but can become challenging as we age and spend longer hours in front of computers and cell phones.
The bottom line – your spinal system needs regular check-ups just like your teeth and eyes to have the best quality of life possible.
Because you were meant to shine brightly – not live in the darkness.
