What is Cervical Radiculopathy?

Neck pain can lead to many problems, including headaches and dizziness, but did you know that neck pain may also lead to pain or numbness in the arms?

It’s called cervical radiculopathy. It’s where a possible misalignment (usually at C6 or C7) can pinch a nerve and cause problems in your arms and even your hands.

It can feel like numbness, burning, tingling, and may even cause loss of power in your arms and hands. The feeling can be scary and affect your performance at work or even at home.

The pain or discomfort may even show up at night when you sleep. If not taken care of, and the situation becomes chronic, recovery may become difficult. Strong medications, injections, or even surgery may be required.

Possible causes:

Stress
Poor posture from using a computer
Heavy or repetitive work
Sports injuries or lifting at the gym
